Owners Jeff Smart and Dave Shinabarger continue to widen their presence in the Pacific Northwest, highlighting the company’s fast-paced growth in the region

Headed up by the team of Jeff Smart and Dave Shinabarger, HomeSmart Elite will accommodate rapid growth and leverage the area’s diverse real estate talent pool.

The brokerage owners previously teamed up in Kennewick, Washington, in 2020 and are in the process of developing an office in the Wenatchee-Yakima area later this year. They began their operation overseeing a total of 17 agents. Now, with the move into Spokane, the duo leads 73 agents who are looking to develop HomeSmart’s overall presence throughout the state.

“We love Spokane. It’s such a great area and is experiencing amazing growth. We have worked with many REALTORS® in the area for years and are just excited about working directly with them in the market now,” notes Smart.

Spokane is experiencing record-breaking home price averages and competitive bidding wars from homeowners moving from places like Seattle and Portland. In fact, Spokane saw the highest rate of bidding wars with 83% of home sales involving multiple competing offers – up from 61% the year before.
